First email from the MTC

Hola padres!

They have given a chance to email you guys before our assigned pday to let you know we are okay. My pday is on wednesday so I will be able to email you guys then. So far the MTC has been great.  Honestly the first day was the longest for me even though it was a half day. When we first got here we got our badges with little orange stickers on them and so every missionary would try to play a joke or clap for the new missionaries so I wasn't a fan of being new. The mtc has been great though and i have two great companions, both from utah. we are growing a lot already and we are progressing in spanish even though im the worst by far. Yesterday we met our branch presidency and it was awesome. We have a great presidency and i already love them. We had little meetings with them to get to know them better and I really enjoyed it. Brother Price is the second counselor and he is really funny and I enjoyed talking to him and learning about his mission where he served partly in honduras and also belize where he had to go from speaking spanish to petite hondurans to speaking english to large black people. I guess belize was founded by slaves who escaped and continued to sink slave ships. Anyways I guess they liked me a little because I was called as district leader over my district. Im still learning what that means but I was humbled by the assignment and I'm excited to learn more and lead by example. We taught a fake investigator today all in spanish and it was hard to see how awful my spanish is right now but i know i will improve. Im being rushed but I love you guys and tell everyone thank you for the letters! it felt good being the one with the most letters! I have yet to open my package but mom I think you have my peacoat unless its in the package!
P.s sorry for the errors in grammar and the capitalization mistakes< i was hurrying
Gracias
